Emelie is currently studying Recording Arts, Music Business, Film & TV Production, and Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Denver. She is passionate about sound and art design in video games and film and loves working with live and recorded media to add meaning through sound.
Her background in classical violin brought her into the world of theatre when she began playing in pit orchestras. This led her to develop an interest in live sound mixing for music and theatre, after which she applied for the University of Colorado Denver’s Recording Arts program. There, she found a way to combine her life-long interest in video games and film with her passion for audio and began working on audio work for visual media.

Lead audio engineer on Castle View Theatre Company's Songs of Stage and Screen. Responsible for equipment maintencance, choral group recording, music mixing and mastering, and live sound engineering.
Lead sales associate, responsible for managing Box Office team, selling tickets and subscriptions, operating the Box Office during performances, and managing patron concerns.
Member of the Student Filmmaking Club at the Unversity of Colorado at Denver. Mixed and recorded production sound on film sets, recorded and edited sound effects for post-production, and mixed and mastered final audio tracks.
